The online calendar is up to date as of today (April 25). There have been some more changes, minor, but changes none the less! Please check carefully!
HOUSELEAGUE: Due to the number of participants, we are combining programs. Same time slots, but the entrie program will run on the DON LOUGH pad. TYKE & NOVICE will run together at 6 - 7:15 pm and the PEEWEE/BANTAM/MIDGET program will run together at 7:15 - 8:30 pm also on the DON LOUGH pad. The changes will take place starting May 1 and will run for the remainder of the program.
REP GAMES: SCHEDULE HAS BEEN FINALIZED WITH THE ZONE. All games as booked are now on the website and up to date. Arena locations are under the ZONE 4 ARENAS tab on the REP LAX page. All changes to rep scheduling will now be communicated through your respective team manager.
ADULT RECREATION LACROSSE: It's a blast! We had 15 runners out on week #2 including 3 women! Let's keep growing! Join us Wednesday nights, 9pm on the DON LOUGH pad Program runns until July 25. Did you know that Lacrosse is Canada’s original National Sport? Come out and try your hand (and body) at the Canadian Summertime National Sport. The Huntsville and District Minor Lacrosse Association includes the areas of Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Baysville, Lake of Bays, Parry Sound and up to Burks Falls, Sundridge and South River.
What Division will my Player be in?
Divisions for your player are done by birthdate. As long as your player is the age below before December 31st, 2012 that is the corresponding division they will be in for box lacrosse.
- Paperwieghts 4-6 year olds (2006, 2007, 2008)
- Tykes 7-8 year olds (2004, 2005)
- Novice 9-10 year olds (2002, 2003)
- Peewee 11-12 year olds (2000, 2001)
- Bantam 13-14 year olds (1998, 1999)
- Midgets 15-16 year olds (1996, 1997)
For Field Lacrosse the Division names are different however the age groupings are the same. and the cut off date is the same date of December 31st, 2012.
- U9 (Tyke) 7 and 8 year olds
- U11 (Novice) 9 and 10 year olds
- U13 (Peewee) 11 and 12 year olds
- U15 (Bantam) 13 and 14 year olds
- U16 FALL BALL (13) 14,15 year olds
MINOR LAX EXECUTIVE MEETING
Held at 7 pm on the second Thursday of each month. They are held at the Canada Summit Centre in the Al Thorpe Room. To get on the agenda for the next meeting, please contact HDMLA President PRIOR to the meeting.
